A voice for the Quiet Empty
PostSubject: A voice for the Quiet   A voice for the Quiet Icon_minitimeWed Mar 14, 2007 10:12 pm

From the WindStone emerged a figure that burned in the sun's early rays. A deep red shone, thick and heavy. At first glance one might come to think of it as a fox invading the camp. With the red pelt, white paws and throat; not to mention the bushy tail with white splashed about the tip. It was known happened before so it was only prone to happen again. A young apprentice coming forth of it's den and shouting out to the clan that they were in danger. Which was really far from.

Foxstar was one of the kindest leaders, not to mention the youngest, of WindClan history. He even ranged to the other clans known for his fairness and young achivements. Really this was fine by him. Being young let him connect easier with the younger cats in his Clan. Although, the older, senior warriors didn't take him as serious at times. All ways giving him more advice if he needed it or not. Of course, he never failed to listen and always considered everyone's given opinions.

Streaching his lean, strong muscles, the tom's luxorious pelt rippled in the sun. Flattering if you wish. Tail curling in the air he straightened and paid a visit to the fresh-kill pile. Not entirely hungry he noted how low it was and stored in his mind that he needed to take a patrol out later.

(( I'll just... Pop in, if that's alright. |D ))

A tabby cat rested at the front of its den, basking in the sunlight. It needed to stray away from everything for once, and thought that the perfect place would be just somewhere inside WindClan camp.
But as little life began to stir, the tabby itself began to stir again. Pale green eyes flickered open slowly, glancing around the clearing. Its hackles bristled, realizing that the most noise made would be where it was laying.

Darkcloud lifted her cheek from the ground, her head high and turning in all directions. I can't believe that even I can be disturbed when someone is walking by. she grunted. The WindClan warrior stopped her thoughts before ranting to herself again when she noticed that the only cat in view was Foxstar. Even though he was what? Half her age? Darkcloud still respected Foxstar because he was the leader of her Clan. She did infact hate almost all younger cats, but Foxstar was one of the few exceptions. Respectfully, the warrior dipped her head as a greeting when Foxstar came in sight.

A figure slipped silently from the nursery and began to stretch, as if seeing how long her body could go. The figure's form was slender but lean, her girth beginning to show impressively now as her litter continued to develop.

Tigersong looked around and, having hearing the apprentice's call of alarm, noticed Foxstar's return. Tail and head held high, as they always had been in her pride and confidence, the striped young queen trotted over to greet her mate.

Meowing a greeting, her voice soft and chiming like bells, she butted her head lightly against Foxstar's chest and shoulder before rubbing her side and pelt against his with a rich purr.

Foxstar dipped his head in a return greeting to the old warrior. She was one of his most trusted warriors in the clan, not that he picked favorites. It was just that Darkcloud didn't suffocate him with advice and precautions.

Immeditately his attention was adverted toward his mate, Tigersong. Rubbing his head along her back he greeted her with a deep, warm purr. Obviously glad to be in her presence. "Goodmorning Tigersong. Are you feeling well today?" Concern danced acrossed his eyes as the question refered to her current state.

Green eyes turning gentle in amusement, Tigersong mewed. "I am feeling just fine. A bit famished is all. I was just heading over to grab a rabbit from the fresh-kill pile." Arching her back in a stretch, she continued. "Hopefully the litter should come before the next gathering. It would be good news to announce there. To let them know Windclan is flourishing and growing." Her flank twitched, itching, and she twisted around to still it with gentle teeth before licking her flank to settle the mussed up fur.

"Yes, that would be a good thing to show." Foxstar smiled and let a yawn escape quietly and strech his jaws. Gleaming white teeth poked outward in the sun. "Care to accompany me to that rabbit?" He questioned in a joking manner, yet meaning what he said.
